Climbing all 82 4000m peaks in the Alps – 1 season – ‘zero’ CO2

Inspiring climbers and other people, by giving a huge example aimed at sustainability and climate change.

The Alps are dealing with big environmental problems: glaciers are melting, seasons changing, droughts and floods alternate. We have to do something…WE! But we don’t…me neither. I am stuck in my old rhythm in which I quickly take the car because it is better for me…

And do we always have to go far for a “great” adventure and with that create more environmental pressure? Do we go far so we can convince other people how good we are, to be the first, the best or the fastest on a mountain, or for the likes on FaceBook???

Why can we not inspire other climbers and non-mountaineers, by setting an example, close to home: showing them that things can be done different for the environment.

Example is not the main thing in influencing others. It is the only thing.
